摘要:

The Industry4.0 is a new revolution in manufacturing industry, but its impact is spilling out to other industries including services and healthcare. The primary change made by the Industry4.0 is the shift of design paradigm in terms of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet of Things (IoT). In this presentation, I will give an overview of the enabling technologies such as high-performance communications (including 5G), edge and cloud computing, industrial AI and future robotics. The latest progresses and future challenges in these areas will be introduced through example research projects at ABB. Additionally, through these real projects, I hope to share the way of doing R&D in large international companies.
